Avant Garde Aleworks is now hiring summer Beertenders for our taproom in Estes Park, CO. Our ideal candidate is energetic and outgoing, with an affinity for customer service and craft beer. Members of our beertending team are responsible for fostering positive customer relationships and helping us create a welcoming and enjoyable craft beer experience for all guests. Beertenders are responsible for knowing details about all of our beers, providing excellent customer service, opening and closing the taproom, fulfilling online orders, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This position reports to the Taproom Manager.

Part Time: 6-20 hours per week

• Act as a customer facing representative of Avant Garde Aleworks while serving guests in our taproom, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude for others at all times
• Describe beers to customers and make recommendations based on customer preferences. Training provided on all Avant Garde beers
• Fulfill all taproom and online orders
• Follow set procedures to open or close the taproom at the beginning/end of your shifts
• Maintain a clean and organized bar and taproom
• Restock kegs, merchandise and food. Keep retail items organized and faced. Additional relevant tasks as requested by the Taproom Manager
• Daily cash & tip reporting
• Regularly communicate with Taproom Manager
• Participate in staff-wide training programs

• $12.14/hour + tips
