The People Behind the Beer
Avant Garde Aleworks was founded in 2019 with a shared vision to create a welcoming space in Estes Park that celebrates great beer, creativity, and community. What began with a small tap list and a big dream has grown into a brewery where thoughtfully crafted beer and genuine connection come together every day.
Inspired by our mountain community, as well as the local artists and musicians that call Estes Park home, we approach brewing as both a craft and a creative outlet. Drawing influence from European brewing traditions, we create beers that balance technical precision with curiosity and expression.
Much like a farm-to-table restaurant, our approach is rooted in seasonal, quality ingredients and small-batch production. Our tap list is constantly evolving, allowing us to experiment with new ideas and showcase different flavors throughout the year. As a Craft Malt Certified brewery, we are committed to supporting independent producers, many of which are right in our backyard.
At its core, Avant Garde is about more than beer. We strive to create a true third space for Estes Park. A place that exists beyond home and work where people can gather, connect, and feel a sense of belonging. Our taproom is shaped by a small, dedicated team whose personalities and passion define the experience here. Whether you're stopping in after a day on the trail, meeting friends for a pint, or discovering Estes Park for the first time, we're proud to offer a place where great beer, community, and mountain culture come together.
