Position Summary

Avant Garde is seeking a motivated, hospitality-driven Taproom Manager to join our team in Estes Park, CO. This role supports the Director of Operations in overseeing daily taproom operations, with a strong focus on customer experience, staff leadership, and smooth service execution.

The Taproom Manager is responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience while fostering a positive, engaging workplace for the team. This person will be highly knowledgeable about Avant Garde’s offerings, policies, and procedures, and will confidently communicate expectations to both staff and guests. Consistency, organization, and attention to detail are essential to success in this role.

Full Time: 30-40 hours per week

Job Duties

  • Provide outstanding service and hospitality to guests while promoting a welcoming, inclusive, and team-driven environment at all times.
  • Act as the Manager On Duty when completing daily operations, including opening/closing duties. Lead by example in the taproom; assist staff during busy shifts and resolve customer issues professionally.
  • Train and mentor taproom staff on SOP’s, customer service standards, and brand messaging. Ensure staff is educated with the most up to date company information.
  • Ongoing education and coaching of staff to enhance the guest experience.
  • Conduct employee reviews, and contribute actively in feedback processes.
  • Coordinate staff schedules and communicate staffing needs to Director of Operations, forecasting busy and slow times.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of all beer and food offerings and educate staff and customers accordingly.
  • Ensure all menus are up to date, presentable, and in good condition.
  • Assist with inventory, orders, and cash handling as needed.
  • Help plan and execute taproom events and promotions.

Compensation & Benefits
