Join us on Saturday, March 14th for the fifth annual Beer Mile-ish along Highway 7 in Estes Park!
This year the race will start and end at Avant Garde Aleworks, with a stop in the middle at Lumpy Ridge Brewing Company. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome – wether you’re racing to win or taking a more casual beer-crawl approach this is the event for you!
Either way, wear your most festive St. Patrick’s Day flair and get ready to PARTY!

Get three beers at two breweries over the course of one-ish (0.8) mile as you race from Avant Garde to Lumpy Ridge and back. Beers will be pre-selected by each brewery and ready when you reach the next stop.
New this year…we’re offering a non-alcoholic beer option for racers! Just select ‘Non-Alcoholic Registration’ when checking out.
Food will be available for purchase at both Avant Garde Aleworks and Lumpy Ridge Brewing Company throughout the evening so you can fuel up!
Rules:
- You must be 21 years or older to participate in the Beer Mile-ish. Be ready to show your ID when picking up your race bib.
- All beers must be consumed on-site at each brewery location. Participants found to be traveling along the course with alcohol will be disqualified.
Tickets are $35 per person & include the following:
- Three beers along the race course (2 at Avant Garde, 1 at Lumpy Ridge)
- Beer Mile-ish race bib
- Pot o’ Gold Punch Card
- The first 50 sign ups get a special Beer Mile-ish baseball hat
Check-in: 3:00–3:50pm
Check in at Avant Garde, collect your race bib and have a pre-race beer if you dare. Get ready to start running at 4:00pm. Food will be available for purchase on site for post-race fuel.
Race Start: 4:00pm
All competitors will line up and get ready to start – once the clock starts you’ll grab a beer and start! You can leave for Lumpy Ridge as you finish you beer.
Live Music: 4:30pm–6:30pm
Jason Lenz will be putting on a post-race performance at Avant Garde Aleworks, from 4:30-6:30pm. Open to all racers and spectators to enjoy.
After you complete the course, we encourage you to visit other local businesses along Highway and complete the Pot o’ Gold Punch Card. Get your card stamped at each of the participating businesses along the race course, then turn it in to Lumpy Ridge or Avant Garde by the end of the night for a chance to win a local business prize pack ($125 value).
